NEW YEAR

@ 4:00PM

THURSDAY: I had so much fun! It was the last day of the year 2009! Matt came over to my house at 11:30 when I asked him not to came later than noon. We went to Maxi to buy fruits and chocolate. We took pears, kiwis, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and a pack of toblerone chocolate. I also got a pack of chips for my brother. We then went to pick Laine up. Matthew said he wouldn't want to drive to her house at night. It's really creepy and deserted. :( Laine was baking a cake for her family dinner at night. After she was done, we all went back to my place. We watched the Proposal and it was hilarious! After the movie, we started preparing the fondue. Matt was fixing up the chocolate. Laine was peeling and cutting the pears and the kiwis. I was washing the blueberries, blackberries and the strawberries. When we were done, we sat down and ate and talked. Matt tried multiple times to steal the fruits I dropped in the chocolate. He said it was a free-for-all, but I didn't play fair. :D TEEHEE. And I helped Laine when Matt tried to steal hers. He was like ''Oh this ain't fair. I wish Jackie was here''. I remember this time when Laine, Matt and I went sushi with Jackie. He ordered a lot more than we could eat. It was terrible. Anyways, I ate so much chocolate. I become so energetic. It was weird. Afterwards, they both left to their family dinners, and I napped a little while, and I got up again. I had to meet Laine in Montreal around 9. We were going to spend the countdown together. I met up with her and I went to greet her family. Afterwards, we just walked around the Old Montreal and the Old Port. We loved the weather. It was snowing lightly. It was so fun.

Near the end of the night, we were both freezing. The fireworks were beautiful. :)

Laurianne's farewell dinner

This past weekend was full of laughter. Mai came over to my house. Gosh i love her. She stayed over the whole weekend, and we just fooled around silly. My mother even said ''Since when did we have another daughter?'' I guess that shows how much time Mai spends over at my place. :)

Today was .... I am absolutely speechless. Only one word can describe my day. It was AMAZING! first off, i woke up with my best friend laying beside me. And man, I have to say she was exhausted because she snored all night. hahahaha. Then, we fooled around, rolled around, laughed a bit, and we got our things and left. We took the bus at around 2. I got to school at around 3ish. I met up with Marie-Claude and we talked. I'm really going to miss her. She's so funny. :D


Class wasn't so bad. I can't believe it's all ending. The term passed by so quickly. I can't believe it. For my paintings, I used 5 canvases, and the theme was China. I named my piece Fragilité.

After class, we went to dinner at Chez Paesano on Saint-Denis street. It's because Laurianne is leaving for Africa on friday, and she will be back on the 6th of January. I took a Spaghetti du Papa. It was delicious. OMG! SO GOOOOOOOD! :D Just thinking about it makes me all giddy. Although it was so filling, I think all our stomachs were about to burst. After the dinner, we went all the way down to Old Port and walked around. we fooled around so much. I remember we were singing I've just seen a face out loud, screaming, running, skipping, shouting, laughing, and we were just plain mental. Honestly, I'd rather be freaking mental than sane, because I feel so much more free this way. I think that we should be afraid of being ridiculous. I mean, feeling young and free, and being able to be ridiculous among your friends is something i hold dear, because how long will we be able to do this? We would have to grow up eventually, so I might as well take advantage of my youth now, and act like an idiot (with a responsible mind, of course). It was cold outside, but I guess we were enjoying ourselves so much that the weather didn't bother us anymore. Afterwards, we went back to the metro, and we got a hot chocolate at good ol' Timmy's. It was delish after all that crazy fun. I'm home and now and honestly, I feel like I will have a good night sleep tonight. :D I'm going to edit this post later and add the pictures of today's outing. I'm currently uploading pictures that have been left aside in my laptop for months onto FB now. My friends have been nagging me since forever, so i would post them. Like i said, laziness gets the best of me. HAHAHA, but I'm doing it now. Tralalalala.
